S-19 Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows: 1 Section 22 of the Statistics Act is amended by adding the following after paragraph (r): (r.‍1) fire and emergency response, including, for each calendar year: (i) the total number of fires as well as the monetary losses and number of firefighter and civilian deaths and injuries resulting from those fires, (ii) the fire death rates for each province, (iii) the number of fires that were intentionally set as well as the monetary losses and number of firefighter and civilian deaths and injuries resulting from those fires, (iv) the number of forest fires and number of hectares affected by those fires, and (v) the number of fire departments, the number of fire and emergency responses per department and the subject matter of response calls; Published under authority of the Speaker of the House of Commons
